Radek Stepanek 2010 Preview
Since the start of 2010 Radek Stepanek has been shaky. His record of 7-6 demonstrates well this shakiness. One may note that he has simply not played very many matches this season. In response we might note that if Radek Stepanek had not been losing so frequently in the early rounds of tournaments he would have the opportunity to play a lot more matches.
Three different events have been there on the season where Radek Stepanek failed to advance past his first match of the tennis betting tournament. However, his troubles do not end with this as he has failed to advance past his 2nd match in two other tournaments.
A player who is ranked in the top 20 on the ATP World Standings is not typical with these sorts of results. The 19th slot of the world rankings is currently held by Radek Stepanek.
Radek Stepanek has managed to advance to the final of one of his tournaments in spite of these awful results in the majority of his tournaments. En route to the final even Gael Monfils was bet by Stepanek easily in straight sets 6-2, 6-1. When he finally played Andy Roddick in the final, Stepanek pushed Roddick to the limit twice in a heart breaking 6-7, 6-7 defeat.
To see how Stepanek, the former 8th ranked player in the world, can be so inconsistent is difficult. The ability to play with the most talented betting on tennis players in the world at times has been shown by him, but at other times he has lost early in tournaments. Consistency will be the key for Stepanek in 2010.
