Rafael Nadal – Pro Tennis Player
3rd in the rankings for Men’s Tennis in the ATP World Tour is currently held by Rafael Nadal. The number 2 ranking in the world was recently surrendered to Novak Djokovic by Nadal. Though the 3rd ranking in the world seems stellar to most, this is a slight disappointment for Nadal.
Previously, the number 1 tennis betting player in the world was Nadal and the opportunity to return to the top of the game has been with him at just 23 years old. A 16-4 record has been posted by him so far in 2010. Though he has lost 3 matches this year, some of those matches have been to the top players in Men’s Tennis, such as Andy Murray and Nikolay Davydenko.
A heartbreaker in the final of the ATP Qatar ExxonMobil Open was Nadal’s loss to Davydenko the player who was dominated in the first set was Nadal, losing 6-0. Nadal showed a lot of heart in the following set, winning 7-6. In the third set Nadal was not able to rebound and lost 4-6. -To see Nadal demonstrate the ability to adjust his game after being beaten thoroughly in the first set was encouraging in spite of the loss.
Nadal is still one of the top threats in tennis in spite of dropping to the 3rd spot in the world. A clay court tennis player in the past was Nadal. He was thoroughly dominant on clay, beating his opponents at an incredible rate. Since that point Nadal has lost his reputation of being a clay court player. This is not because he is no longer solid on the clay, but rather because he is good on all courts.
One of the most talented betting on tennis players in the game is Nadal. If Nadal did not work his way back into the top 2 players in the world as the year continues on, I would be surprised.
