Agnieszka Radwanska moving up the charts

In the WTA World Rankings, Agnieszka Radwanska is the number 8 ranked player. As she is at the highest ranking of her career right now, this is exciting news for Agnieszka Radwanska.

Agnieszka Radwanska is an interesting player. Radwanska, has also struggled to win late in tournaments and has shown flashes of absolute dominance.

Already this year, in her 18 matches Radwanska has won sets with a score of 6-0 six separate times. This sort of dominant play is incredible. As some people do, she does not have a problem winning the matches that she plays against weaker players. However, she has struggled some against the top level players in the world.

Radwanska has managed to win one so far, in her three matches against players ranked higher than her in the WTA World Rankings. In straight sets 6-4, 6-3, she managed to beat Elena Dementieva handily. However, she was beaten thoroughly in the quarterfinals of the WTA Sony Ericsson Open by Venus Williams (3-6, 1-6). By a score of 2-6, 3-6, in the semifinals of the WTA BNP Paribas Open, She also was soundly beaten by Caroline Wozniacki.

She will need to find a way to beat those top level players and advance to the championship round of tournaments, If Radwanska hopes to continue progressing in the WTA World Rankings. Radwanska has not won a Singles Title still in 2010 and did not win any Singles Titles in 2009. Though she has not won many tournaments in her career, she is still moving up the charts and has time to improve.
